Susan worked as a factory manager and consultant for Ibex West from 2014 until 2017. This video showcases many of the pieces that she worked on for Ibex.

Susan participated in Lead Out, a faculty and staff art show at UC Davis' Basement Art Gallery. From March 16 to April 3, 2017, the gallery displayed Susan's long wrap knit dresses from the Smithsonian Collection, as well as her Ikat Shawl Collar Jacket.

Susan Abplanalp designed and produced these Dresses (including Fabric Design) for Chico’s FAS the Boston Proper Division. The Designs are original and were presented for review to the Boston Proper Team. They chose these from a look book that was presented to them with these Designs as well as many others, tailored especially for their brand.

These garments are a selection of Susan's "Smithsonian Collection" that she designed and made for the curated Craft2Wear event at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. in October 2016. Susan was invited to the event as a Designer working at California College of the Arts.
