DESIGN 14:
CORE ILLUSTRATION AND DESIGN DRAWING
2008 - Present
In Design 14, majors from across campus learn the fundamentals of drawing for the field of Design. Students hone their illustration skills with a wide variety of mediums, including brush and ink, watercolor pencil, and graphite pencil. They also focus their drawing on a wide range of subjects, including people, objects, and landscapes.
DESIGN 171:
FASHION ILLUSTRATION
2008 - Present
In Design 171, students learn both digital and hand drawn fashion illustration techniques, and work on original designs as they perfect their technical skills in fashion illustration. The final project, From Runway to Reality, incorporates hand-draw illustration with technical and digital manipulation.
